SUBMISSION OF TITLE AND ADMINISTRATION OF THESIS SUPERVISOR

A. Requirements

  1. Students have taken a minimum of 100 credits when registering, by attaching a transcript that has been signed by the Academic Advisor.
  2. Students have received approval from the Academic Supervisor by filling out the submission form for the title Research Proposal for the thesis (Form S-1).
  3. Students who participate in research with lecturers are required to obtain a recommendation letter from the head of the Research Team (Form S-1B).
  4. During the implementation of the research proposal guidance process until the submission of thesis examination scores, students are required to write a logbook for each stage and be approved by the main advisor and companion advisor (not allowed to be in the Examination).

B. Implementation

  1. Students show the transcripts and the Research Proposal Title Submission Form for Thesis (Form S-1) that has been approved by the Academic Advisor to Administration of the Animal Science Study Program.
  2. The Lecturer Chair of the Research Team submits a letter of recommendation (Form S-1B) containing a list of student names and NIM, the title of each student and a proposed list of candidates for Main and Companion Advisor to the Undergraduate Commission.
  3. Students show the Research Proposal accompanied by Form S-1 and Evaluation Results of Student Research Proposals (Form S-1A). When participating in lecturer research activities, students show a recommendation letter of the proposal of the main and companion advisor candidates from the head of the Research Team to the Administration of the Study Program (Form S-1B).
  4. The Study Program Administration submits a letter of recommendation proposing a list of student names, the Main and Companion Advisor as well as the S-1A Form to the Undergraduate Commission.
  5. The undergraduate commission carries out an evaluation of the student’s Research Proposal and determines the composition of the student’s Research Proposal Advisor (Form S-1A). Undergraduate commission has the right to determine the Main Advisor and Companion Advisor to adjust the burden on the lecturer in guidance.
  6. Students receive approval for the appointment of the Main Advisor and Companion Advisor (Form S-1A). If the results of the approval evaluation are rejected, then the student makes a Research Proposal with a different topic and title.
  7. Students who receive the approval of the Main and Companion Advisor then fill out and submit the S-2 Form to the Administration of the Study Program.
  8. The Study Program Administration submits Form S-2 to the Undergraduate Commission for the determination of the Main and Thesis Companion Advisor.
  9. Students ask for the lecturers’ willingness as the Main Advisor and / or Companion Advisor (Form S-1C).
  10. Lecturers are required to fill out a letter of willingness / unwillingness to be the thesis supervisor (Form S-1C).
  11. The Undergraduate Commission determines the Main Advisor and Thesis Advisor and is known by the Head of the Study Program (Form S-2) and submits it to the Administration of the Study Program.
  12. Students receive a letter of determination of the Main Supervisor and Companion Advisor (Form S-2).
  13. The Administration of the Study Program records the S-2 Form in the file of the determination of the Main and Companion Advisor of the student thesis.
  14. Lecturers receive a letter of willingness to act as the Main Advisor and Companion Advisor for the completion of the thesis (Form S-2).

SEMINARS OF RESEARCH PROPOSAL

A. Terms

  1. The research proposal has been approved by the Main Advisor and companion Advisor.
  2. Form S1, S1-A, S1-B, S-1C and S2.
  3. Seminar Proposal research is carried out a maximum of 2 weeks after determining the Lecturer Evaluator. If the time limit exceeds 2 weeks, Undergraduate commission can apply for replacement evaluators.

B. Implementation

  1. Students apply for the Research Proposal Seminar Evaluator Lecturer by showing the S1, S1-A, S-1B, S-1C, and S2 Forms to Undergraduate commission.
  2. Undergraduate commission appointed a Research Proposal Seminar Evaluator Lecturer.
  3. Students submit a letter of willingness to the Research Proposal Seminar Evaluator Lecturer who has been appointed by Undergraduate commission (Form S-3A3).
  4. Lecturers are required to fill out a letter of willingness / unwillingness to act as a Research Proposal Evaluator (Form S-3A3).
  5. If the Lecturer of the Evaluator is not willing, the students return the Evaluator form to Undergraduate commission.
  6. Determining the schedule for the Research Proposal Seminar is carried out based on the agreement between the student and the Main Advisor, Counselor and Evaluator.
  7. Invitations for the Research Proposal Seminar (Form S-3A1) and Research Proposals that have been approved by the Main Advisor and Companion Advisor are submitted to the respective Main and companion Advisors and Evaluators at least 3 working days prior to the implementation of the Research Proposal Seminar.
  8. The Research Proposal Seminar must be conducted and attended by Main Advisors, Companion advisors and Evaluators. If one of the main advisors / companion advisors / evaluators is not attended, the Research Proposal Seminar will be rescheduled.
  9. Determination of the evaluation results of the Research Proposal Seminar and the feasibility of conducting the research by the Main Advisor, Advisor and Evaluator (Form S-3A2).
  10. Students submit a Research Proposal Completion Report (S-3) and attach Form S-3B, Form S-3B1, Form S-1, Form S-1A, and Form S-2 original to the Study Program Administration.
  11. The presenter of the Research Proposal Seminar is a maximum of 2 students and the Research Proposal Seminar is carried out a maximum of 1 hour per paper.

SEMINAR OF RESEARCH RESULTS

A. Terms

  1. The Result Seminar Papers have been approved by the Main Advisor and companion Advisor
  2. Already done research.
  3. Have participated in the implementation of the Results Seminar at least 10 times and have collected the Participation Seminar Results books.
  4. Have made a poster of research results and posted / posted on the Results Seminar Board at least 2 days before the implementation of the Results Seminar.
  5. The number of participants attending the Results Seminar is at least 10 people

B. Implementation

  1. Students register for the implementation of the Research Results Seminar to the Administration of the Animal Science Study Program (showing the Results Seminar paper that has been approved by the Main and Companion Advisor and shows evidence of attendance at the Research Results Seminar at least 10 times).
  2. The Study Program Administration submits the Research Results Seminar files to the Undergraduate Commission.
  3. Examination of the S-3C, S-3D, S-3E, S-3F Forms and the Willingness Form of the Evaluator Lecturers for Research Results Seminar (S-3G Form).
  4. Appointment of Lecturer Evaluator for Research Results Seminar by Undergraduate commission.
  5. Students submit a letter of willingness to the Research Results Seminar Evaluator Lecturer who has been appointed by Undergraduate commission (Form S-3G).
  6. Lecturers are required to fill out a letter of willingness / unwillingness to be the Evaluator of the Results Seminar (Form S-3G). If the Lecturer of the Evaluator is not willing, the students return the Evaluator form to Undergraduate commission.
  7. Students together with the Main and Companion Advisor and Evaluator Lecturers of the Results Seminar determine the schedule for the implementation of the Research Results Seminar (place, day, date, and time) (Form S-3C).
  8. Students submit an invitation to the Results Seminar which has been signed by the Head of Study Program and the Results Seminar paper to the Main and Companion Advisor and Evaluator, a maximum of 3 days prior to the implementation of the Research Results Seminar.
  9. Students put up a Results Seminar poster on the Results Seminar Board.
  10. Students determine Results Seminar participants as Moderators and one student as Discussants.
  11. Presenters for the Seminar Maximum results of 2 students and the Seminar on Research Results is carried out a maximum of 1 hour per paper.
  12. The Student Discussing and Presenting the Results Seminar must write down all questions and answers and / or responses.
  13. The results of the writing (minutes) are shown / submitted to the Main Guide and Co-Advisor during the consultation.
  14. The Results Seminar must be attended by Main and Companion Advisor and Evaluators.
  15. Determination of the value of the Results Seminar by the Main and Companion Advisor and Evaluator (Form S-3E).
  16. Certificate of Completion of Seminar Courses (Form S-3D) and attendance list of participants signed by the Main Advisor (Form S-3F) submitted to Undergraduate commission, to then be submitted to the Study Program Administration.

THESIS EXAMINATION

A. Terms

  1. Students have finished taking all courses (minimum requirement 139 credits).
  2. Students have carried out Proposal Seminars and Research Results Seminars.
  3. The thesis has been approved by the Main Advisor and Companion Advisor.
  4. The student has received approval from the Academic Advisor (the transcript is signed by the Academic Advisor with no D and E grade).

B. Implementation

  1. The implementation of the thesis examination is a maximum of 1 month after the Results Seminar.
  2. Students show the transcripts that have been approved by the Academic Advisor to the Administration of the Animal Science Study Program.
  3. Students submit a thesis that has been approved by the Main and companion Advisor to the Administration of the Animal Science Study Program.
  4. Students submit the Thesis Exam Registration form (S-4).
  5. The Prodi Administration submits the Thesis Examining Team Form (Form S-5) to the Undergraduate Commission.
  6. The Undergraduate Commission has the right to assign Thesis Examination Lecturers to adjust the lecturers’ load in guidance and determine the composition of the Thesis Examiner Team (Form S-5) which consists of Main Advisor, Companion Advisor, and Examiner.
  7. Students receive approval for the appointment of a Thesis Examining Team (Form S-5).
  8. Students ask for the willingness of lecturers as thesis examiners (Form S-5A).
  9. Lecturers are required to fill out a letter of willingness / unwillingness to be a thesis examiner (Form S-5A).
  10. Determination of the thesis examination schedule is carried out by agreement between the student and the thesis examiner team lecturer.
  11. Thesis examination invitations that have been signed by the Head of Study Program are submitted to each Lecturer of the Thesis Examining Team at least 7 working days before the thesis examination (Form S-6).
  12. Thesis examinations must be carried out and attended by the Lecturers of the Thesis Examining Team. If it is not attended by one of the Main Advisors / Companion Advisors / Examining Lecturers, the thesis exam is rescheduled.
  13. Minutes of Thesis Examination are filled in by Thesis Examining Team Lecturers (form S-6A).
  14. The lecturer of the thesis examiner team collects a recapitulation of the thesis score (form S-6B, S6C and S6D) to the Main Advisor which will then be submitted to the Administration of the Study Program.
  15. The thesis score will be issued after the student completes the thesis revision and shows it to the Administration of the Study Program.
  16. Thesis revision is a maximum of 3 months after the implementation of the thesis for judicial registration.
